Hi and Christie,

The email you found Christie is from an autofile from our groups site that gets sent out monthly in case anyone should need that info if they are moving in or out of Ohio.

Rory would probably refere someone back to our group when someone needs info on school districts. Rory is a great Realtor and can help someone locate a home and he referes people to this support group for questions on school districts and such.

I gave that information about Rory as a realtor because if you should have concerns about a home regarding the safty or similar types of concerns for a child with autism, he will understand your concern a bit better than a person who doesn't have a child with autism.

I truly hope we can be of help to you.

Yours Most Truly,

n

Are you moving up this way? I don't have any great connections in

Twinsburg, but I know if you email on the group, to the whole

group, something would come up. I'm fairly new to Ohio, and I moved to

Hudson for the school district. But my son is very high functioning

due to biomedical things we do, like the GFCF diet. So, we're just

putting him in a regular preschool and hoping for the best. :-)

Hi, ,

I'm sorry. It's not that he can't attend there. It's just that we've

decided, as parents, that it's not the best fit for him this year.

There are many kids who really benefit from their preschool program!

Hello, y'all!

I'm Christie, and our family is from Texas; yet we live here, in Ohio

now. My son has been approved for the scholarship as of July 1st of

this year, and we will be able to use it for services the remainder of

the summer. It only took about 2 weeks to do the paperwork and get him

approved.

However, the only reason why we can use the scholarship over the summer

is because he is approved for the scholarship for the entire 2007-2008

school year. He will not be able to attend school in the Hudson City

Schools this upcoming year.

It's sort of an all or nothing kind of deal. And all of the money for

everything we do has to be paid from us up front. Ugh! Then, we'll be

reimbursed at the end of each quarter. It will be a challenge, but we

want to try it.

Good luck to those of you who do use the scholarship. ..and those of

you

who choose not to. It's great to live in a state where we do have a

choice!

Sincerely,

Christie
