Guest guest
I'm still in Columbus with 2 kidlettes...( and MacKenzie) The little one is a pistol and although she is the most entertaining creature God put on this earth, she exhaust me! Sooo...if anyone needs a drink with good company, it's me! At approx 8:00 I'm breaking open a bottle of wine and I'll do a quiet toast to all of you! I don't care if they're still up and running around or not!!! I deserve it!!! Including the 4 mo who I babysit 2 days a week in the summer, I've had, as Deb put it, 50% of my grandkids! Add the 15 yo granddaughter and a neice who I comitted to taking to see Rascal Flats at the Ohio State Fair, tomorrow, and I 'm thinking that I may down that entire bottle myself... " sorry Joe, geshyourown boddle " ! Have a great time!!!! " Salute " !!!! -Trish > > Reminder from: Group > /cal > > MOM'S NIGHT OUT - Join us! > Saturday August 11, 2007 > 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm > (This event repeats every month on the second Saturday.) > Location: Will be posted on e-mail. > Phone: n: 216-663-1453/My Cell: 440-346-8673 > > Notes: > Join us for Mom's Night Out. Guest guest
Hi , I did mention the 25th, but I didn't realize that it's a Saturday. I almost always go to Columbus right after work on Fridays. When summer break is over, I go back to being a week-end wife!...Speaking of which, I DID crack open that bottle of wine at 8:00 like I said. I was kind enough to share it with Joe, which kept me at 2 glasses. I suppose that it was the responsible thing to do, considering I had a couple of kiddos attached to my hip. Gee, I wonder how many glasses Deb had with her vacation from MacKenzie???? I remember the first time I took her first born, Abbey, to Columbus for a week- end...she cried as we left. This time, when I told to ask if he could come, she not only had HIS bag packed, but Kenzie's as well!!!! At four, she is the most social being that I have ever met. Last night, she went outside to play, and she ended up inviting 2 girls over for dinner! Then today, I took her to Penneys where she and another little girl struck up a conversation about her new pink shoes. By the time I was ready to leave, she had invited her over for a sleep-over!!!! This girl's mother was rolling!!! It was nice to see you at the Achievement Center, Thursday. The kids had a ball and got to help with the sports " competition " . Noah asked if we could go golfing aferwards at that Driving Range right off Harvard. Since he asked so appropriately, I pulled in and got the jumbo bucket of balls...all 180 of them. Of course, it was 97 degrees out and it took forever to hit them. Noah was actually driving them 15-30 yards, consistently. found himself making excuses as to why he wasn't doing as well...LOL...which one has the autism???? Of course, little Miss Mackenzie made friends with a little boy who was there with his dad... I'm surprised she didn't invite him to join a league or something! Yes, Noah has grown a lot this year. He has gone from the smallest and sickliest kid... the one with severe anemia, multiple ear infections, strep, pink eye, upper respiratory infections, chronic diarrhea and even mono, to a healthy, happy little guy who rarely even catches a cold. I was surprised when he didn't want to come to Columbus this time. But he had one more day of " school camp " and he didn't want to miss it. He did tell me he'll come next week with Abbey (ya think???). I am so looking forward to you being the student teacher in his class. He has a lot of work ahead of him...especially in conversational speech! I was thrilled that he was saying good bye to everyone when we were leaving, but he really needs to drop the " Luv ya " part!!! : } Hmmmm... Anyway, if you guys do get together that Sat., I will have to play it by ear. I already spoke to n about it...anything that falls on a week-end is " iffy " , if not completely out for me. So whatever you guys plan, I'll just join you when I can. But I will ALWAYS make a point of having that " spiritual bonding " drink with you at the eight o'clock hour!!!! Take Care' -Trish > > > > Reminder from: Group > > /cal > > > > MOM'S NIGHT OUT - Join us! > > Saturday August 11, 2007 > > 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm > > (This event repeats every month on the second Saturday.) > > Location: Will be posted on e-mail. > > Phone: n: 216-663-1453/My Cell: 440-346-8673 > > > > Notes: > > Join us for Mom's Night Out.
