Guest guest
For those of you who have undergone an anti-candida protocol, can you tell me how you got on? I'm about to start one and am a bit concerned about the side effects of die-off on top of the adrenal/thyroid issues and how nasty it might be. As it is I'm barely keeping my head above water on the fatigue, although I accept that candida may also be causing fatigue. I've been taking HC for about 4 weeks and I'm on 2 grains Armour but still feeling hypo (apparently I may have a conversion issue and may need to add T3, depending on how I get on in the coming weeks). To tell you the truth, I had no qualms about self treating with HC, but the prospect of doing an anti-candida regime makes me quake. The idea of potentially making myself more ill in the process is a difficult one. Do you think that by taking HC the die-off might not be so difficult? Were there any supplements you found particularly beneficial? I'm looking at Threelac and an Oxygen product and of course, they're all so expensive! I also read about taking some sodium bicarb (ie baking soda) in water each day because it help alkalinise the body which makes it hard for candida to survive. Any tips gratefully received. thanks, Marie
