Guest guest
Hi everyone I'm taking lugol's and related vitamins to deal with suspected hyperthyroidism and I'm also trying to detox from fluoride. I have been bathing with a pure water and epsom salts from a copper bowl). I've adjusted my vitamins after encountering a few side effects (rash from B3 & hypokalcemia from too much magnesium). Initially I think i had bromism for several days (tired, itchy, dizzy after my iodine dose) but then it seemed OK. I misunderstood the lugol's dose so overdosed the first few days (I probably had over 20 drops on the first few days). I now take about 4 drops daily. I managed to eradicate a lot of fluoride/chloride/bromide from my diet for about 10 days and for the first time in years had a non- bloated stomach for several days. I was less strict with this regimen (but still took the iodine) for the next week few days. Now I have had 2 episodes of nausea in the last 2 days. I can't trace it to anything except for maybe MonaVie yesterday (they said it can cause detox - and for all I know it has fluoride in it anyway). I absent mindedly had a shower just before my last wave of nausea. I don't know if I am meant to mention fluoride on this site. If it's OK, does anyone know if you can get nauseous from re-exposure to fluoride/chlorine after going through a detox? I wasn't suffering from nausea before the detox. Also I have a pimple like bump behind my ear that hurts. This may just be a pimple, but my B3/hypokalcemia reactions have resulted in hyperchondriacal paranoia. I sort of feel sporadic throbbing from this area of my head (both sides but more one). Could my arteries be about to rupture from excess iodine??? dazed and confused from downunder
Guest guest
Yes you can get nauseated from detoxing. The halides (fluoride, bromide, chlorine) are what we discuss here along with mercury. So no worries. That lump behind your ear is a lymph node. Mine will swell at times and then go down. I put Traumeel cream on it and rub it in a few times a day.
