Guest guest
One scary thing I tried makes me really wonder what this is. In the winter of 2007 I stayed home 3 months and for those 3 months I kept my head oil and grease down with Vaseline 24/7...for 3 months solid....it didn't work.....they were still there after 3 months of being covered...but they went nuts when the salt hit them.....why???? Guest guest
Thanks for all the cleaning tips everyone. Wow I guess its probably a good thing that I am moving back to New Zealand in June, because I have not done any drastic things like throwing out furniture or tearing up carpet.... and I know I dont want this to come back. Som that is so wonderful that you are doing great. Have you had another appointment with your acupuncturist? I have been thinking about what you said Lucy, about getting it back after 6 months. I know that on the website that Golfnut was talking about (the one that may have a virus) that it gave quite a plausable reason for re-infestation in months to come. Something about the parasite eggs being able to remain dormant on fomites for up to 1 year. My naturopath thinks it is just like any other parasite - that it cycles. She said just because we are not feeling much of anything doesnt mean its gone - it could just be an egg like stage of the cycle. So like Rita was saying, its pretty hard to stop the regimental cleaning, and thats probably a good thing. Except that I am afraid of my vacume:(
Guest guest
Zooks. Wear long sleeves when you clean your vacuum cleaner. Wear those latex gloves, too. Promptly, take the long sleeves off and put the shirt in a pot on top of the stove and boil it. throw those gloves away, far away. Use something that will kill those mites, inside and outside of the v. cleaner. place the v. cleaner in the sun after use and cleaning. zmooks <zuleikahwalker@...> wrote: Thanks for all the cleaning tips everyone. Guest guest
Lucy Thanks for your post. Thats interesting that you were stung by a stingray (wow how did that happen!) directly before this came back. I would imagine a stingray sting would be very toxic, perhaps enough to create the right environment for these things to flourish again..... I bet you go over the possibilities all of the time! This may sound odd but I had biting sensations for a couple of days in the beginning of spring - my dog felt them too - but no one else in the house did - looking back I realize now that we had a small dead sparrow in our yard. Until a few days ago I just thought it was fleas. But it wasnt until 6 months later after sleeping in the motel that the true hell really began. I keep wondering if these two things are some how connected. I had always just thought it was from the motel - but perhaps the parasite was vectored by those forgotten two days of biting. We also moved in between those two times as well. Maybe something in the bed was attracted to a parasite I had already picked up. I know that we have all read about being sort of 'marked' by these mites/parasites. So maybe we can become prone to acquiring them not just from past infested objects - but from random locations like my families motel stay. Anyway I am just banking on what a lot of people have mentioned on here, and I have heard from my naturopath - that complete change of body chemistry (by what Golfnut was mentioning alkaline etc etc) may have to be life long changes to keep ourselves free of being walking targets. p.s. I have used ivermectin over the past 6 months with good results so did Ray. Mel knows a tone about ivermectin, as does frito lay I think. It does help but for us it needed to be constant weekly (at times daily) doses. After our doctor refused to give us more prescriptions, we resorted to vet grade ivermectin. For us it still was effective. Good night all!
Guest guest
The way I used the list was to highlight the foods I would likely eat. I highlighted the food and whether it was a beneficial, neutral or avoid under type O. It was easier than looking through the entire list. I actually used a different color for Beneficial and Neutral and didn't even mark the avoids actually. If I couldn't have it there didn't seem to be much point. I sure hope you can each see the list. If not, I will copy off a hard copy and mail it to you on request. -- www.bigpondaussies.com
