Chloride for Bromide detox

I have posted before about how Dr. Flechas told me that potassium chloride would

also

work for detox, if I was having difficulty doing the salt loading (causes

dehydration

symptoms for me due to low ADH). He told me that it is the chloride not the

sodium that

binds with the bromide ... Since I was also having difficulty using potassium

chloride

(upset my stomach), I decided to try magnesium chloride... in the hopes that it

would also

bind with the bromide, but I never had the chance to verify this with Dr.

Flechas ...

Well I recently ordered the bromide test kit along with another iodine loading

test, and the

instructions say that you have to ingest 1 Tbsp of salt during the 24 hrs of

collecting,

which serves as a provocation for the bromide. I emailed FFP labs asking if I

could use a

combo of potassium and sodium chloride (due to what Flechas told me about detox)

and

was told indeed " potassium chloride is more effective than the salt. " Wow this

is

interesting! I also asked about the magnesium chloride and this was the answer:

" the

magnesium chloride will not work. It's not the same and won't have the same

effect as the

potassium chloride. It won't bind the same way. " I still don't know why mag

chloride won't

work like the others, but maybe it explains why I have been feeling absolutely

horrible for

the last while ... I am going to try to do the combo of sodium/potassium

chloride and see

if my body handles it better now ...

Now I have a question: is it the iodine that dislodges the bromide from storage

sites

throughout the body, like the thyroid, and the chloride that flushes it out of

the body? Is

that how it works? So if we dislodge it without flushing it out, that is why we

get terrible

detox symptoms?
