Guest guest
Dr Flechas offers a toxic metals test along with the iodine and bromide loading tests ... The toxic metal results take a lot longer - I finally got them back today, and right now I am in shock. The reference range for Mercury is 2.19 and my Mercury was 47.47!In the past I have done hair tests for toxic metals and my mercury was never elevated. I have never had amalgams either, but in the past before I knew better I ate plenty of fish. Also my mother used to have amalgams and did when she was pregnant with me and nursing me and I've heard that we can get a lot of mercury passed on that way ... And of course much Mercury is simply unavoidable from the environment ...I read that iodine mobilized mercury out, but this is really amazing to me. I just did not expect it. I suppose it's good because it shows the mercury coming out - better out than in! But I'm concerned because I haven't been doing other mercury clean up along with the iodine, which could be 1 explanation for why I still feel pretty bad on most days. At least I've been taking vitamin C, the other supporting nutrients, probiotics, and general detox stuff like UltraClear but now I will start chlorella asap ... and I'm thinking about MSM too. Any other ideas? I'm not sure if I should do another strong chelating agent ...Fortunately I was able to get my consultation with Dr Flechas for this Thursday. I'll report about what he says. There were some other concerns from my results - like my urine creatinine is too low and I also have high Thalliam and Tungsten, but not nearly as high as the Mercury. Does anyone know what I should do to raise my creatinine? Thanks,Marlena
