WE NEED YOUR HELP TO RAISE MONEY FOR YOUR CHILDREN'S THERAPY

GOOD MORNING! As you are aware, the organization of our 1st Annual Autism Concert and Benefit at the Beachland Ballroom by NAA-NEO is well under way! We have now less than a month until the event, which will take place between 6 pm and probably past Midnight on June 23rd 2007. You can find the detailed program with the most recent updates at http://www.autismnortheastohio.org/special_events.php. We have had good response to our sponsorship appeals over the past weeks. Thanks to everyone who has sent out letters and sold tickets! We still have 4 weeks to go and we would like to raise as much $$ as possible so that YOUR children can receive the help they need for therapies. The more people attend or sponsor the event, the more grants can be given out by NAA-NEO to Northeast Ohio families like yours, raising a child or children on the autism spectrum. NAA-NEO is truly YOUR organization, run by parents just like you, which has been in existence with the sole purpose of helping YOUR family and children. We simply must pull our resources together to help ourselves! WE NEED ALL OF YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS FUNDRAISER A SUCCESS! Here is what we all can do to help: CONTINUE to spread the word and ask people to buy tickets for the event. Target especially family, teachers, tutors, neighbors, people from work, from your spouse's work, buy tickets yourselves. Remember, if people can not attend the event but want to help, ask them buy a ticket or two to be given out to a family that would like to go but can not afford it. You can purchase tix through the website www.autismnortheastohio.org. LOOK for mini-sponsors who could donate $250-$500. Let us know about your service providers, speech therapists, OTs, PTs, small businesses you know of or have contacts at, local coffee shops, bookstores, dry

cleaners, etc. We will recognize anyone over $250 in the program. Let us know about these and we will provide you with the letter and filers to send. Or, we will send them for you, on your behalf. Contact us at dpattison@.... If the above contacts can not sponsor with hundreds of dollars, have them at least buy a ticket. Again, tickets are available through our website. POST the Benefit fliers around town including libraries, coffee houses, book stores, grocery stores, waiting rooms, ice cream parlors, ANYWHERE! You can download the flier from our website at http://www.autismnortheastohio.org/files/flyer.pdf. LOOK FOR SPONSORS. You can perhaps look into your spouse's/friends/family neighbor's employer, if they would consider sponsorship in a larger amount. Let us know if they would at dpattison@.... Ask your block or neighborhood association to sponsor the event through buying lots of tickets to represent your community supporting your child with autism and your family. Talk to your child's teachers and ask them to spread the word further in the

teacher's lounge and have them buy more tickets! VOLUNTEER TO HELP! You can help with the organization of the event by volunteering a few hours before, during or after the event, helping with sending out tickets, receipts, picking up donations and food, helping us set up for the event and clean up after, or help with the after-event paperwork.
