Guest guest
I am moving to OH this summer, pending my divorce. Presently, my daughter has an IEP that I am not in agreement with. I filed due process. What would happen if I show up in OH to a school district with an IEP I don't agree with? I will be using the Autism Scholarship, for sure, when we move there. If I understand, I will have an IEP meeting with the school district when I arrive. Will a new IEP be developed immediately, and then I can apply for the scholarship? Will the school district want to implement the IEP I bring with me from the school district here? What if my present IEP does not have one on one ABA, yet that is what I want to use the Autism Scholarship for?? Can anyone give me some insight? I also don't want to have to follow thru with the due process, because of the expense obviously, yet I don't want to show up in OH with an IEP I don't agree with, and be penalized in some way or not be able to get the Autism Scholarship right away. THANK YOU KINDLY in advance!!!! (in MO) See what's free at AOL.com.
