Fancy Nachos Resipe

butternut squash

nut butter or guacamole

cubed chicken

I cut the neck of a butternut squash in really thin circle slices, this was

going to be pizzas, but turned into nachos. (We live in Texas.) Bake like

squash fries, but for less time. Then I spread, macadamia butter or

guacamole on them and sprinkle with cooked and cubed chicken. They look just

like nachos and my son really liked them.

Green Pudding - Banana- Avocado Blend

two ripe bananas and one ripe avaocado in a blender and mix together. It

comes out the consistency of pudding.

1/2 large OR 1 whole small avocado

1 ripe banana

1 rounded tablespoon favorite nut butter

Scoop out avocado pulp. Combine with nut butter and banana.

Process in a blender to a smooth pudding consistency adding a little water

for consistency if required.

Use a larger pot. CANDY MAKING

QUESTION: I have had a hard time trying to make hard candy. I follow the

recipe and it never hardens. After 3 days, it's a mushy gooey mess. Can

someone help me

and give me some pointers ?

ANSWER: In most cases, when this happens, the sugar solution was not boiled

hot enough and the mixture was stirred for too long after the color and

flavor were added. Here are a few helpful TIPS: For best results in texture

and flavor, the optimal temperature to boil to is 300 degrees F (Hard Crack

Stage). When mixture has reached the right temperature, remove pot from

stove, flavor mixture quickly, stir quickly - ONLY about 2 to 4 seconds.

Pour mixture in a heatproof glass measuring cup, then pour into molds. Most

of the bubbles will settle. If mixture does become to thick for pouring you

can put it in the microwave for about 5 to 7 seconds to get thin again. If

the mixture gets too hard, you have to start over again!
