Guest guest
My son is 16 and finally diagnosed to what I believe he has by a good medical professional. He is autistic and to a degree he is high functioning. However, he sees life as he rules the adults and you ain't gonna change that. At this time, the doctor has requested blood tests before placing him on any new medicines. However, as in every other area, my son is defying this request to the point of ripping up and throwing out the script. Even though I have believed that my son may be autistic for quite some time, I am at a loss as how to discipline and enforce correct behavior with him now. If anyone has some proven system to get a frustrated mom started on the right foot with her newly diagnosed son, I would be most appreciative for your insight into the autistic teen male.
