I used to buy my Lugol's from an ebay seller whose products are high

quality. Now I purchased the crystals from the same seller and have made

my own Lugol's. Very happy with the results. I've bought commercial

Lugol's and the ebay seller's, and it was same same. But, this is the only

ebay seller I have purchased from and can therefore recommend.

Because it's a lot cheaper, that's why. There really isn't an issue with

shelf life on the liquid, despite some people's claims. And yes, sitting

in crystal form is less volatile than sitting in liquid form.

I made about 12 ounces of 5% Lugol's. At 6.25mg per drop, this will last

me a long time. The other reason for making it myself is that I can store

the raw materials and be assured of having my supply.

I also give it to my cats and dog, and am trying to get my hubby to take it.
