Guest guest
Hello I take compounded sustained release 60 mg T3 every 12 hours along with my 25 mg liquid Iodine every 12 hours also. I had been on a smaller dose each of Cytomel and Iodoral tablets. I can't say I'm noticing much difference at all between the two. More compounded T3 and Lugol's compared to Less of Cytomel and Iodoral. I'm trying to compare types instead of amounts. First question: do you think a compounded sustained release T3 is better than a T3 pill or just about equal? Second: why doesn't Iodine seem to be helping to improve what the T3 is doing? Was on Iodoral 2 years and now on Lugol's 2 months. Do wonder if taking one item from each group might be better. For instance---Cytomel pill in first group and liquid Lugol's in second group? Guest guest
Hello SAZ, I see no one has answered your post, and it could be that many, including myself take Naturethroid and so have no experience with compounded T3 or Cytomel. Are you taking the companion nutrients with your Lugols? (magnesium, selenium, Vitamin C and Celtic Salt)? Sorry I can't answer your questions about the T3, maybe someone else will be able too, or perhaps you should join the thyroid group. Guest guest
Hi Saz, I've been on Cynomel for 3 years, but I can't answer your question. The only time I tried SR T3 was when I was attempting 's protocol, and I felt great on the lowest dose and horrible on all the others. I've been on the T3 forum a lot over the years, and don't recall anyone saying they did great on SR T3. Val has conjectured that it gets bound to other things very easily. Why don't you go over there and take a poll? Sorry, I have no experience with the two types of iodine, but if you repost that as a separate question, I'm sure a lot of people here could answer it. Guest guest
Is SR T3 another word for Compounded time release T3? And I thought Cynomel was another brand of Cytomel. Guest guest
SR = Sustained Release Cynomel and Cytomel are both brands of T3 (not SR). > > > > > > > > > Hello > > > > > > I take compounded sustained release 60 mg T3 every 12 hours along > with > > > my 25 mg liquid Iodine every 12 hours also.
