Guest guest
My FNA report from Univ of Penn states there is a 1.8 right thyroid hypoechoic nodule. I guess this is the wording that convinces the endos that surgery should be done? For it also sates the specimen shows a monotonous population of follicular cells arranged in cohesive clusters. No nuclear features of papillary carcinoma are seen. (Notice a few cell groups being infiltrated by lymphocytes in the for of " tangles " suggesting an element of chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis. Hashimoto's, correct? My question is should I be under care? Taking something? Will iodine help at all? My FNA was done in May, 2010. Brain fog is at all time high. Or is it CRS? Thanks so much. ~~~Barb
