I am hoping someone here can help me understand what is going on...

I am on 2 3/4 grains of NT and weaning off of HC due to high bp- requested per

my doctor. I have been on HC for a year this month and am currently on 7.5mg as

of today (had been on 10mg yesterday).

My bp yesterday (sitting quietly for 15+ minutes each time was:

135/88 pulse 87 @ 12:45pm

131/81 pulse 86 @3:30pm

140/82 pulse 92 @ 515pm

Average temps: 98.6, 98.8, 98.6, 98.4

My 'normal' pulse/bp is around 117/80 pulse 76. So, needless to say my bp/p has

been running high like this for a week and temps look good to me... They

actually got better when I started weaning off the HC.

My plan was to reduce 2.5mg every 7 days as long as temp/bp was good...

I apologize in advance if this doesn't belong on this board but I don't think HC

is a cure all and the more I have reduced the better I have felt- until today

when I got an ocular migraine/shakes/paranoid, etc..

I am reducing wrong? I am also on estrogen and had been reducing it because I

thought it might be causing the problem of bp but I have read it helps with bp.

I am very confused right now and am reaching out for support...

Thank you,

Lori
