Guest guest
Hi, I was reading a book review and saw this comment by the writer: that a sign of getting more than enough iodine in your system is a "wet" nose.... I am guessing maybe meaning a drippy nose. I was wondering if anyone else has encountered any such idea. The poster also stated that you should not take iodine with anti-oxidants which included the ones we post here that you SHOULD take with iodine. So i am not sure about the validity of anything that they said! On 2/5/2011 9:13 PM, Cochrane wrote: I have run out of selenium and am not going to have more for about two weeks. Is it ok to keep taking my current dose of iodine - 100mg per day - for the two weeks, without the selenium? Or should I cut out the iodine until I have more selenium or just cut it down and, if so, to what dose, please? Just wanted to add that I had very high Reverse T3 and have been taking cynomel, HC for my adrenals and iodine for just over three months now and am doing much much better. I also had Hashimoto's - I don't know what my antibodies are like at the moment, but all my symptoms are improving.
Guest guest
What book is this? It's actually a sign of bromide detoxing or detoxing in general. Several of the iodine docs take iodine with Vit C so there really isn't much to that either. I beat cancer taking them together. Guest guest
Yes, when my husband gets a runny nose he backs off the iodine and then starts it back again. We also go by that rule. Not sure where we heard it~ I have run out of selenium and am not going to have more for about two weeks. Guest guest
thanks, it sounded suspect... I have been feeling detox and sinuses drippy as moving up to 37.5 mg Iodoral. I am taking all of the supplements and some salt. I am waiting for a book I ordered to study more on adrenal fatigue. I think I have had this going on for a long time but usually dx'd as depression. Thanks, On 2/7/2011 5:19 PM, ladybugsandbees wrote: What book is this? It's actually a sign of bromide detoxing or detoxing in general. Guest guest
My recommendation is that people rely on the information given by this list or in Dr Brownstein's book Iodine. Trying to find sources outside seems beside the point when they just parrot the same old tired anti-iodine misinformation. Most of the information on the web is either entirely or partially erroneous. If you want the real poop, stick with the real scoop. --, list moderator >What book is this?
