Guest guest
Thanks for all the suggestions regarding my dizziness. If I didn't say so, they only started after I was rear-ended in my car just before Christmas. Had 3 episodes, each lasting 5 minutes, in 3 wks while sitting in my recliner watching TV. However, I'm a great one to flip thru magazines/catalogs while watching, and suspect they happened when I heard something on TV that made me lift up my head quickly. I feel certain that my head was not lowered, nor did i lift it abruptly while driving. I am having my 1-yr labs done in another week or so, so will find out if my levels are within the norms. Meanwhile I'm handing over my welfare to God. Bobbe - <102.5 pounds> - If you can dream it... you can do it! God, give me the dream that you planned for my life. (Don't postpone joy.) Guest guest
Can the iodine also create dizzy spells? I've had some of those as well. Actually, I was having some just tonight. Thanks! Lori

Guest guest
Tested HOW? Be advised if you go to a Dr, unless he/she is holistic, naturopath etc. the only tests they usually recognise are serum(Blood) or 24 hr. urine tests. These tests are designed to diagnose adrenal insufficiency, and won't pick up adrenal fatigue. You will need an adrenal saliva test.If the Dr. can't/won't order one,you can order them yourself, without a Rx. You collect the sample yourself, in your own home. They send you a kit. You, basically, spit into these tubes, and send them to the lab.If you can't get your insurance to pay for it,its not cheap.Charting your temps, and the pupil test, can give you the same info.Properly charting temps can tell you if you are Hypo, AF or both.If you are AF, the pupil test than can tell you if you are low in aldosterone. And it doesn't cost a thing, if you have an accurate thermometer.Go to DRRIND.COM. Read " Instructions for using Metabolic temperature graph " , and print a couple of copies of the graph.Might also want to read " Metabolic Matrix " ; it lists signs, symptoms and test results, for Hypo, AF or both. Guest guest
Me too, every now and then. Bad in the am. I have some blackstrap molasses in water -- just in case I need iron. > > Can the iodine also create dizzy spells? Guest guest
If it's postural (you get dizzy when you stand up), then it's low blood pressure, and it's from low aldosterone (one of the 50+ adrenal hormones). Other symptoms of this are pee sprees and salt craving. Salt can help. I had postural hypotension for decades. Everything goes black when you suddenly switch from lying to standing. You pass out if you don't lower your head. I don't have it anymore, probably because my thyroid treatment is more effective now (T3). Sometimes the adrenals get hypothyroid, if that makes sense. > > > > > > > > > > > I had them with both low thyroid and low adrenal. Guest guest
Does anyone else get dizzy spells when they tip the head back? I have to be careful washing my hair in the shower. I've nearly fallen a couple of times. Fortunately this seems to be getting better. Can Aldosterone come and go? Does iodine have any effect on this? Guest guest
I have had that when my adrenals were off. If I were laying down and stood up I would almost pass out - or even visa versa. It was horrible. The room would shake when I laid down and things would go black. Steph * dizzy spells> > > >> > > >> > > >> > > > Can the iodine also create dizzy spells? Guest guest
Me too. Except I was passing out ten or more times a day for awhile at my sickest five years ago. Glad that is over with. Guest guest
Hi Steph, I had the same thing happen to me quite a few times. The other day though it just started out of the blue.
