Guest guest
Everyone is different and no one can tell you how you will react. Those look like bromide related toxins. So Iodine would be a good protective nutrient. Steph Question on water report I am wondering if I found the reason for the health problems I have been having- ie: nodules, adrenal issues, etc.I went to Environmental Working Groups's website and put in my zip code and got the data on my water. I don't drink this water but I do use it to bath in daily (as does my 5 kids/dh) and sometimes cook in.. Other than that I drink distilled water.Halocetic acids, trihalomethanes, arsenic, radium, bromoform, bromodichloromethane, di bromochloromethne, alpha particle activity...All these exceed the health limit. Should I just get a heavy metal test done? If I start iodine will I have a rough detox? Just really concerned.
Guest guest
My dd is on some detox for Uranium and some other chemical toxicities in her body. She takes detox baths: Make a Bath as warm as you can take it. Put in 4-5 blended up organic lemons and 3-4 huge cups of baking soda. Soak as long as you can- sweating is good. I tie the lemon puree in an old sock. Guest guest
The idea behind this is that the acid and soda in the water creates a solution that draws things out of your skin to help your body detoxify. You would not be drawing the water in to your skin as the chemistry says that the water would go towards the solution with the higher acid/soda in it. But a filter on the shower head would get out the chlorine... I am not sure that it is strong enough to get out the VOCs. Guest guest
Some of the moms on my autism list bought hand-held shower heads with good filters on them, & just let them hang down to fill the tub.AnneOn Jan 27, 2011, at 8:28 PM, alagonza2000 wrote: My concern is taking a bath in this water.. Guest guest
Wow...I'm wondering how that can be legal? That's outrageous. I'm afraid to look on the website and see what poisons lurk in our water! Guest guest
Sadly the New York Times are running a nationwide investigation into water issues and have already diiscovered 500,000 cases where illegal dumping has taken placeof all manner of toxins which the local authority who have the right to prosecute, have done nothing. We are really in Brockovich territory. You may remember from the film lots of people were becoming ill through pollution of the water table by hexavalent chromium which a utility company were using to clean their tanks. Can't remember the name of the company but they had to pay out $450 million dollars in compensation .From: "Bbircie@..." <Bbircie@...>iodine Sent: Fri, 28 January, 2011 13:44:26Subject: Re: Question on water report Wow...I'm wondering how that can be legal?
