Guest guest
Hello, There was discussion about using DMSO and iodine together a while back and one post said it was not necessary, that the iodine works fine without DMSO. I finally figured out why I would use them together. Topical iodine evaporates quickly so one would be throwing away money when using it that way. If it is used with DMSO, I would guess that the evaporation process is not as dramatic, if there is any at all. I have nothing to prove this but it makes sense to me. If DMSO is strong enough to pull other chemicals into the body then it must have a magnetic pull that holds on to the complete molecule. This would be critical because 5% is rather harsh on the skin, while 2% might not be very strong but still preferred. One wouldn't want to dilute less than 2% if they could help it.
