I just wanted to share that I have completed my doctorate in Naturopathy. I have degree in hand now. It's a great feeling.

I have started my practice (on paper) and it is called Pathways to Health. I chose this name because of two things. For those that know my story of doing RAI for thyroid cancer 3 times and having it fail and then being told I need ext beam radiation and me running from it and taking the road less travelled ( Frost) by doing it holistically with Dr. Brownstein. Even though there is the "normal" path I took a different one. I wanted to recognize that there is not one cookie cutter solution to our health issues. The second is based on my faith. 9:1-12 where Jesus healed the blind man with mud. He placed the mud on his eyes and told him to go and wash it off. On my journey I was frustrated by those who had been healed instantly of their cancers (my DO being one of them) and I had not be even after much prayer, anointing of oils and the regular treatment. Then my pastor pointed out this story where the man had to take action to heal. That was his "path". For me this was my path as well. I had to act (and learn) to heal.

I am working on setting up my physical practice by getting signed up with nutritional supplement companies and just completed training on the BioMeridian Machine www.biomeridian.com . This will give you a better idea what it is

I will be finishing my program through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in June and will offer wellness consultations. I plan to do phone consultations with this training.

I am a little unorganized at the moment with so much going on but hope to be *open* some time in April.

So that's my news.

Buist, ND
