Hello mzookie? Is that your name? sorry you didn’t sign your name. Anyway, I take my companion nutrients with breakfast the same time I take my Iodoral. Yes, it is okay to take it all at once in the morning with breakfast. Also it is okay to take the supplements with another meal later in the day. Kathleen

Asked this on the Iodine fb page but maybe I should have here first!

Should supporting supplements - selenium, vit c, magnesium, etc be taken at certain times? With or without meals? I read where iodine should not be taken within three hours after Vit B12 and with protein?Iodine, I take first thing in the morning. Is it alright to take all eight of the 12.5 tabs? Then the selenium. Then during the day I will add Vit C, Vit B, Vit E and zinc. Magnesium I take before bed.Is this ok to do?

Thanks Kathleen - mzookie is fine. Forgetting to sign my name is one of many

many things I forget lately - brain fog, maybe?

Anyway, I really shouldnt get too hung up on the minutiae, but I have read to

take iodine with protein away from the Vit B12 and Vit C (C destroys the B12?)

and vit c and selenium should not be taken together. Zinc on an empty stomach

can make you queasy. There is something as well about magnesium, but brain fog

is rolling in!

Hi Barb,

I take all those you mentioned together and I don't worry about it. I feel my body is smart and knows how to distribute vitamins and minerals. But that’s just me =-) Kathleen

When we get them from food they are all together. I think people way

overthink that stuff. You could go crazy trying to conform to every rule

that is spoken. The secret is, they aren't really rules.
