Guest guest
Is there data supporting the use of Iodine to help the body with pesticides? I know the body is getting rid of many with the iodine but is there also other toxins it can help burn off? I ask because I am currently dealing with a possible aerial spraying of my neighborhood with a pesticide in late Spring 2011 (airplane). They do two separate sprays a week apart. I have read there may be issues with lungs, skin, eyes and quite possibly endocrine with this btk containing FORAY product. I need info quick. How do I even research? Google thyroid disease caused by pesticides? This particular pesticide is fairly new - 20 years and no followup or long term health research is being conducted. Just immediate er visits by handlers. Could many of our issues be due to pesticides? Who knows? They are willing to risk my health, that of my family, friends and neighbors to slow the spread of a moth. HELP! Would I just begin taking 100 mgs immediately during the spraying to offset any response? Thanks so much. ~~~Barb
