Guest guest
You should post over at the adrenals group. For what you describe, I believe that low iron is a big problem as it somehow helps with the Rt3 so you need to get on a supplement pronto. Also, they ask often if your Vit. D is higher than doctor's recommendations and Vit B12 as well. There are things that help with what you have high.... If your adrenals and vit.s are off, then the thyroid meds can make you pool t3 because it can't get into where it is supposed to be... I am not the expert, have just been reading a lot.... He didn't tell me the specific #'s of my T3 and T4 but he said they were high too(I'll get specifics tomorrow). I have read enough about R-T3 to know it's a liver congestion problem and I need to clear my liver but at this point I do not take anything else besides iodine (125 mgs) and companion nutrients. I'm gluten free. My ferritin has been really low so my energy is always low. My question is should I take a small amount of T3 even though it's high? MY ND says too much T3 can cause heart damage. I don't remember what others have done when all their "T's" are too high. Karin
Guest guest
- The owner of this group, , posted the following in message #70724: " High RT3 is an indication of stress, poor diet (refined " s " ), high cortisol, and toxic liver. You need to support the systems that are low and clean up the diet. I had high RT3 and took Dr. Brownstein's TLC product www.purezenhealth.com to help clean it up. My RT3 came down almost 100 pts in 6 weeks. ---- I have that saved because I have high liver enzymes (possibly due to my gallbladder being removed and awaiting my RT3 results). Guest guest
Hi , Do you have the link for the adrenal group? I understand they're anti-iodine but I suppose I can glean other wisdom from them. My Vit D is low and I haven't had my B 12 tested.... I hope I can resolve this. > > > > HI I just talked to my ND over the phone and he said my R-T3 was 659 > > with 350 being the top of the range. Guest guest
sure, NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS and they have a lot to read on the group itself. I could recommend the Solgar Iron supplement. My daughter and are on it now for about 2 weeks. It has not upset my stomach or been hard on her either. Something I am taking is starting to help- not sure if it is the extra B's I read about, the iron, or what, but these things can help! I am also taking Vit. B12 spray for your mouth to increase absorbtion, and my daughter really needed Vit. D. The adrenals moderator is very anti-iodine, but knows a lot on the adrenals. So I just stay off the iodine topic and glean. Blessings, On 2/18/2011 10:37 PM, Karin wrote: Hi , Do you have the link for the adrenal group?
