Guest guest
My daughter, 20 y-o with fibrocystic breasts, is asythmatic (yes, bromides from inhaler) and has been on the iodine protocol for about 3 months at 50 mgs of iodoral/day (and all supplements). I need some help with her lab results. TSH, 3rd gen. 1.3 [.4-4.5] T4, Free 1.3 [.8-1.8] T3, Free 3.3 [2.3 - 4.1] T3 Reverse 33 [11 - 32] I'm just wondering if the high T3 is indicative that she's taking iodine (too much, perhaps). Does it mean she should cut back? What does it indicate? While her doc is pro-natural and good with cancer and hormones, she doesn't follow Brownstein and I think she's weak on correcting the underlying cause of the fibroids and her thyroid issues. So, I'm doing that myself. Thanks, Deborah
