Guest guest
I tried substituting Brazil Nuts for selenium and I ended up feeling unwell. I took them because I was waiting for my selenium supps to arrive. I then stopped taking the iodine until I got the selenium. I think that some estimates of the amount of selenium in Brazil Nuts are very optimistic. I was taking good organic ones. But if they are grown in selenium depleted soil there will not be enough selenium in them. I am on westhroid, taking lugol's and all the extra suppliments that Dr. Brownstein recommends, but in the beginning I had to raised my dosage. What tests do I need to ask the doctor for now? Also do brazil nuts give a person enough selenium?
Guest guest
> Also do brazil nuts give a person enough selenium? There is lots of selenium, B12, and vitamin A in lamb and calfs liver. Almost like we were *meant* to eat it. ;o)
