I have assumed with our low body temps that a digestive enzyme is essential at meals. I have no documentation with this, but it’s just my personal experience. I have Hashi’s, am well supplemented with thyroid, and my body temp tends to be slightly low still. Without the food enzymes, I can really tell that I’m not digesting food well.

My thinking on this, and I also have no documentation. We all know about

" Probiotics " .How they are 'good' gut flora, and not only are good in themselves,

but also occupy territory, to keep 'bad' flora count low.Well, bacteria have

certain perameters for being healthy; they need certain temperatures, ph, etc.My

wife and I tried taking Probiotics, and even FOS and INULIN with probiotics, no

help with digestion. I think its because with low temps, probiotics died off

almost as soon as we took them.Having addressed adrenal fatigue to get temps

stable, and now using NTh and iodine, hoping to get temps up to 98.6, and THEN

see if we get better results from Probiotics.Jim
