Guest guest
Right before I remembered that the reccomended iron supplement is CHELATED Iron, apperently because binding the iron to an amino acid PROMOTES absorbtion!O.k, now I'm confused, AGAIN!!;-0 Jim
Guest guest
O.k, how about this; A chelator is like a city bus, safly transporting minerals to the cells, from the digestive sytem, (as in chelated iron) or from the cells to the digestive sytem for elimination, like heavy metals. " Safely " , cause they can only get 'off the bus' at designated stops. So, they aren't wandering around doing free radical damage. An excreter is like a cop or security guard, saying " Your trespassing, you can't be here, leave! " ? ;-) > > Right before I remembered that the reccomended iron supplement is CHELATED Iron, apperently because binding the iron to an amino acid PROMOTES absorbtion!O.k, now I'm confused, AGAIN!!;-0 Jim >
