Lugol's can stain the teeth, others have recommended using a straw to drink

whatever they have mixed the Lugol's in to avoid this.

Does the straw eliminate the staining? I tried using a straw for my liquid iron

and the staining was horrible. Thanks!

Others have stated that it worked. Sorry I can't vouch for it, when I use

Lugol's it's been in small amounts or painted on.

Hi Brite.Trice,I do have 100-125mg of lugol's in 2 cups of water first thing in the morning (I've been drinking that amount of water first thing in the morning for decades). No staining of my teeth at all. Mine is in the whitest scale. Some people add some ACV in their water with the lugol's.From: Linn <mwm1glm@...>To:

Thanks, . I think I was remembering (and worrying about) an earlier post

about yellow teeth, but when I did a search it seems like her problem may not

have been the Lugol's. Glad to know you've been benefiting from the Lugol's for

so long! I'm only about 6 months into this journey.

I am taking about 70mg of Lugols (12 drops X 5%) in about 1/2cup of water a day.

My teeth actually seem to be whiter?

I have heard others complain about staining, but it could be that they are using

the drops alone.

I used iodoral for first 3 years thinking my tummy is nauseated easily. But been using the make your own lugol from the ebay seller at higher doses than 50 mg used to do. Tummy not bothered and I don't even mind the taste in water and teeth are whiter  I need to get a scale so the dose can be more consistent though...My old scale wasn't effective...Pam.

Lol. I can see what I have said is confusing. I feel like I should be clearer myself here. I have been using the 2 cups of *only water* for decades, so when I started to use Lugols I added it to something I already was using normally. I started Lugols in 2008 but never more than 30mg. I have been using 100-125 since March 2010.
