Why would I feel sleepy while using Iodoral?

I'm up to 4 tabs of Iodoral after about a month. I take it with a capsule of

Vit. C (used to be 2, but I lowered it) and a huge glass of water. I'm trying

to kill 2 birds with one stone with the a.m. routine because I have a 1.5 hour

commute, so in the water I put 1 tsp. of baking soda (to assist in alkalizing my

system). I also take Armour 60 mg tabs once sublingually firt thing in the a.m.

and stopped taking it in the p.m. to see if I could wean myself from it, but

starting taking my p.m. dose again yesterday to see if it helped with the

sleepiness. I originally thought the sleepiness was due to too much folic acid,

but I eliminated it and am still sleepy. Should I reduce my Iodoral dosage? Or

keep it the same and do something different. As far as supplements are

concerned, I also take turmeric, Schiff Enzymall, HCI w/ Pepsin, Malic Acid, B

complex, milk thistle - none of which have ever caused the sleepiness. I'm sure

it's the iodoral, but just need to know what to do to correct it. I had tons of

energy on Armour alone - before I began using Iodoral a month ago. I'm

supplementing w/ Iodoral because I know I'm getting virtually no iodine in my

diet. I follow the Blood Type Diet (Eat Right For Your Type) and am A-.

Thanks so much!
