Guest guest
Dear Friend of ASO and Autism Insurance Parity Advocates: ASO is partnering with the National Health Council to spotlight autism insurance parity for the Presidential Candidates in two events - one in Cleveland and the other in Columbus - in advance of the Presidential Primary here on March 4. Ohio is a key state in the presidental election and candidates from both parties are campaigning here actively. Currently, two Autism Insurance Parity Advocates are scheduled to speak - Melville in Cleveland and Marie Crawford in Columbus. Each event is free and open to the public. Presidential candidates and their staff have been invited to participate in the event. This is a great opportunity to highlight the issue of autism insurance parity on a national stage and perhaps have the opportunity to hear the candidates address this issue. Please plan on attending! Details for the events follow below. Sincerely, Autism Society of Ohio701 S. The event starts at 10:00am and ends at 11:30am. People and families affected by disease and/or disability are strongly encouraged to attend. A statement signed by 48 CEOs (including the ASA) of the nation's leading patient groups will be released. The statement highlights the lack of effective coverage for millions of Americans and seeks to educate political candidates about the need for solutions. The event will also feature patients' personal stories on this important topic.
