Guest guest
Hello everyone,I am pretty new here. When I became a member few weeks ago, I checked my 7 y-o son's previous bloodwork (2010) and there his TSH was 4.270mIU/L (ref 0.4-4.20). In the same test, his T4 was 1.14 (ref 0.7-1.9). I did not know anything about thyroid back then and doctor did not say anything about it and we forgot about it. Couple days ago I saw a website that give 0.3 - 3.0 as a reference. My son has a low tone, his hands and feet always cold. We take a lot of supplement's suggested by a DAN doctor. However, I am thinking about starting an iodine protocol for him. We are already doing some organ support with milk thistle,sage,rosemary,ora-liv etc. and taking almost all of the companion nutrients because of his autism. Do you think it is ok to consider him hypo and try some iodine? I live in Turkey by the way and getting the tests you guys all talk about is not very easy to take here? thank you Ayse
