Have you read the new members document? You need to use the recommended supplements. Iodine does not damage the thyroid.

Iodine should not damage the thyroid if you use the Iodine Protocol. The damage to the thyroid is caused by a by-product of thyroxine (T4) production, a peroxide radical. It fixes on the outside of the thyroid and causes the immune system to no longer recognise the thyroid as such and probably messes up the thyroid's function as well. If you follow the protocol and take selenium, this should not happen. This is explained in Dr A's three page article "Facts about Iodine and Auto-immune Thyroiditis" on www.optimox.com. Go to Iodine Research to see the publications of the Iodine Project. I think the relevent article is about N° 22.

Everyone who is worried about having a Hashi attack because they are taking iodine should read this article.
