Guest guest
Painting Thyroid: Stories? Hey all,Kira in Oregon here. I'm posting to ask any of you who can share, to do so about your success//experiences//specifics about painting your thyroid w/Lugols. I don't think you will find many who have painted their thyroid with Lugol's because it stains the skin and looks unsightly. Also getting enough into the body w/o the evaporation factor will be difficult. Do your nodules disappear? Nodules disappear when enough iodine is supplied. BUT - if you have hashimotos then you may have permanently damaged the thyroid tissue and it is now scar tissue. If this is the case then you will probably not eliminate the nodules with iodine. Do your goiters shrink? Yes goiters do shring. Go to the photo section of the group and you will see an 11 yr old girls pictures of before and after. Did Hashis go into remission? My husbands antibodies disappeared when doing the full protocol outlined in the new member document. It wasn't until he went from 37.5 mgs to 50 mgs Iodoral that this happened. Buist ND Do tell, if you have a moment. Best, Kira

Guest guest
I think I know what the answer is to this, however, I have been reading so much about Iodine and thyroid that I think I'm getting a bit confused. There are so many diverse opinions out there. > > > > > > Painting Thyroid: Stories? > > > > > > > > Hey all, > > Kira in Oregon here. > > I'm posting to ask any of you who can share, to do so about your success//experiences//specifics about painting your thyroid w/Lugols. > > I don't think you will find many who have painted their thyroid with Lugol's because it stains the skin and looks unsightly. Guest guest
Hi, I am curious about that as well. I read in " Why do I still have thyroid symptoms " that people with Hashimoto's absolutely should not take iodine. So confused! Thank you. > > Hello Steph, > > I have hashi's.. > How not to damage my thyroid while ingesting Iodine ? > Is that possible ? > > Good health, >
Guest guest
I felt the same way -- confused -- still do a lot. I started Iodoral 1 a day (12.5mg) back in September after all my hair fell out and someone said " thyroid " ... the hair loss stopped within 3 days and I now have a full head so I will NEVER stop taking iodine, lol! After the hair loss stopped, I started reading, realized I'd had an adrenal crash. As healthy as I thought I was, I discovered I'm not. The reading goes on and on and on. I read for a few weeks, then take a break. I'm up to 67mgs of iodine a day (Lugol's formula from the ebay seller), give my (gigantic teen) boys and my husband about 40 a day. All good, nothing bad. I have done enough reading to believe that iodine won't hurt me. Maybe my hair loss stopping after I started taking iodine was a coincidence... But I don't think so. I think the iodine is saving my life, frankly. It's put me on the path of energy and of learning outside the box. I am committed to detoxing and staying clean to stay healthy. Although conventional doctors have saved my life twice over the years, I don't listen to them to stay healthy. (In fact, I think listening to them is how I got in the dangerous situations to begin with!) I am learning to trust my body's signals. All it takes is some practice listening. Guest guest
Sally, Thank you . Its good to know I'm not the only one that finds things confusing at times. I agree, listening to and trusting one's own body seems to be the key. All good, > > > > I think I know what the answer is to this, however, I have been reading so much about Iodine and thyroid that I think I'm getting a bit confused.
