Guest guest
I take a bar of Bonner's unscented soap & grate it with a fine grater. Then you can stir in enough essential oil in a flavor of your choice -- I don't do peppermint -- to make sort of a paste. (A little dab'll do ya, for sure.)AnneOn Feb 26, 2011, at 7:37 PM, ladybugsandbees wrote: I was buying Tooth Soap www.toothsoap.com and paying $15 / bottle or waiting til she did the B1G1 Free deals. Guest guest
Different people come at it from different points of view. Some are just trying to get away from all the chemical crap in commercial toothpaste. There was a chemist who claimed that the glycerin in commercial toothpaste leaves a film on the teeth that keeps new calcium crystal from forming. He claimed that if you cleaned your teeth properly, with soap, cavities could heal, because new calcium crystal could form on the teeth. After I posted this theory on one of my autism lists, a mom reported that switching to tooth soap had allowed 3 small cavities in her daughter's teeth to heal, so that fillings were not needed. For myself, I had noticed hair-line cracks appearing in my teeth, which seem to have gone away since I have used tooth soap. And I have always had super-sensitive teeth, which no longer bother me. (My son's teeth were severely decalcified, due to poor oral hygiene, & he also found that his teeth were a lot less sensitive with tooth soap.)AnneOn Feb 27, 2011, at 5:02 PM, Shreve wrote: Can someone remind me why tooth soap is better than non-flouridated toothpaste, or preferred over toothpaste?
