Guest guest
ok so in a nutshell I was at .3 TSH before Iodine then hit 18 after starting at 6 mg/day Deciding to take the responsability for my own health decisions I doubled the amount of Iodine bringing it to 12 mg/day. And my TSH after one month of 12mg as opposed to 6 mg is..... 12 ! So my doc didn't have a bird like the last time and I have the satisfaction of knowing that I am nourishing my body more efficiently. I decided to continue with iodine and not to talk about it. All good except I don't understand the logic. More iodine would normally means higher TSH right ? Especially since I am only into my third month. I have been diligently taking 200 mg Selenium, 2-3 grams of Calcium ascorbate ©, the B vites including 500 mg of Niaspan and getting some magnesium oil rubbed on my shoulders ( that stuff is so relaxing ! ). Any reason why my TSH is down ? PS: My muscle enzymes are up. We think its because I have been exercising. Just wanted to add that info.
