Guest guest
I am sorry I meant to cut that sentence off. She was referring to someone else who has had to do that to follow thyroid cancer the typical way done with endocrinologists and surgeons. All these tests are simple blood tests to figure your health of your thyroid so another alternative way to look at the health of your thyroid without being poked or radiated. Sorry for the confusion. I had a death in the family this week and my mind has been elsewhere. PamOn Thu, Mar 10, 2011 at 5:38 AM, Ariel Monserrat <wolvenwood@...> wrote: Hi Pam, thank you. however, I'm now confused. Does this mean I shouldn't get these tests? And what does it mean " these type of tests " , what kind of tests are those? And what does it mean by poke and radiate? How do these tests radiate anything? And what else should we do instead od getting these type of tests? Run some good labs: TSHFree T3 Free T4TPO AbTg Ab TgRT3 You should be able to tell if something is really wrong by looking at these and by how you feel. I am not a fan of these types of testing. I think they just mess with the body too much. This is what wrote on previous post. Hope this helps you. You could do a search for it. Does FT3 stand for Free T3? You want the Free versions of the T3 and T4. And should I also get estriol and/or estradiol? 2) And they say there are no special instructions for aldosterone test but I've read on adrenals list that it must be done at 8:00 a.m. while standing up - does it make that much of a difference? 3) Can anyone think of any other labs I might need? Are these the right labs?I have to pay out of pocket and drive almost 3 hrs to the lab so I want to make sure I get it right. Thanks for any help.Ariel -- Ariel MonserratPublisher & Managing EditorGreen Egg zinewww.greeneggzine.com -- Ariel MonserratPublisher & Managing EditorGreen Egg zinewww.greeneggzine.com -- Ariel MonserratPublisher & Managing EditorGreen Egg zinewww.greeneggzine.com
