Guest guest
I have asked Dr. Brownstein to comment on steps that can be taken to protect us from the radiation fallout that will occur now that we know the plant in Japan has had an explosion. He has agreed to write a blog entry regarding the risks and steps to take for protection. I will post it here when he completes it. Guest guest
I posted information in detail about amounts/dosages of Lugol's/Iodoral under the subject heading " Dose Amounts for radioactive fallout, drop equivalents " The information I posted is based on getting the full dosage of potassium iodide recommended for protection, but using Lugol's/Iodoral. If you can't find the post I'll repost, let me know. -- >Great. Guest guest
I'm thankful to have a supply of iodine on hand. I have been talking to my son about dosing our grandchildren. Guest guest
http://drdavidbrownstein.blogspot.com What about for someone who hasn't even started iodine.. These seem like huge amounts??? I am still working on getting my selenium up. This stuff scares me at this point (radiation, fallouts, etc). Thanks, Lori > > I have asked Dr. Brownstein to comment on steps that can be taken to protect us from the radiation fallout that will occur now that we know the plant in Japan has had an explosion. Guest guest
That is what he was posting about. You need the 130 mgs KI to protect your thyroid. That is what is issued to all people (no matter what) in the event of a nuc reactor issue like this one. KI seems to have less impact on detoxing. Guest guest
Ok. So, KI is " Potassium Iodide " and that is OTC.. right?? Guest guest
yes and the liquid form is SSKIÂ " saturated solution " and it's OTC but you might have a hard time finding it in crystal form or at a drug store. Many health food stores carry it I'm told.Ariel On Sat, Mar 12, 2011 at 3:38 PM, alagonza2000 <alagonza2000@...> wrote: Â Ok. So, KI is " Potassium Iodide " and that is OTC.. right?? Guest guest
Yes that is correct. Re: Protection post Japan Nuclear Plant leaks... Ok. So, KI is "Potassium Iodide" and that is OTC.. right?? Guest guest
What is the difference between KI and Iodoral? I am confused > > > > I have asked Dr. Brownstein to comment on steps that can be taken to protect us from the radiation fallout that will occur now that we know the plant in Japan has had an explosion. Guest guest
KI is the abbreviation for potassium iodide. Iodoral is a product consisting of iodine & potassium iodide. > > > > > > I have asked Dr. Brownstein to comment on steps that can be taken to protect us from the radiation fallout that will occur now that we know the plant in Japan has had an explosion. Guest guest
KI is only potassium iodide. Iodoral is a pill form of Lugol's which is Potassium Iodide and Iodine.
