I've been taking x 2 12.5mg tab or iodoral per day for about 3 months. One in the morning & one in the evening along with lots of other supplements. Is this the right amount? My temperature seems to have improved to 36.6 most days instead of 35.8 before taking the iodine. But not sure I have benefited because of the adrenal fatigue, as I am still very unwell.I was wondering if it was possible to speak to someone who has experience with taking iodine and was able to talk to them over the phone. I feel so unwell and rather than try to speak over the forum, would benifit so much more if I could speak about this issue over the phone. I could tell you my full medical history but that would be too long & boring. However, I have been very sick for over 20yrs & was only diagnosed with hypothyroid & adrenal fatigue in 2007. I spent over a million pound Yes a million pound trying to get well and if it wasnt for Dr. Skinner & Dr. Peatfield I would not be here today. My TSH was always in normal range, well 4.69 so my GP never believed I had a thyroid problem. Eventhough I had my left thyroid removed 25 years ago. Thanks so much for listening to me & I hope you are able to answer my question on iodine. Kind Regards,
Guest guest
I live in the UK. And 20mg of HC is the highest dose my GP will allow me to take. I also take nutri adrenal extra at around 6 to 8 per day & even isocort when the pain is really bad. Thanks > > > > > > >
Guest guest
, I do not know my exact tests results as of yet, but think I have AF and know I am hypo.... I started taking vitamins for adrenals while waiting on my tests, and even just that has been helping. Besides the Iodoral and supplements, I take Vit D, Vit b-12 spray, iron with the Vit. C, bioflavanoids, extra Pantothenic Acid (a vit. B very necessary for the adrenals), and extra vit. B complex. You might want to buy the book on Adrenals by Dr. . It has helped me choose what supplements to take... for instance, I believe if you iron is low, your body cannot use the thyroid hormones well. So having everything high enough is necessary. Hope you find some answers! laura On 3/9/2011 7:44 AM, wrote: Hello, My name is & I'm new to this forum.
