Guest guest
hi I am new but do have a question I have severe allergy reactions to many fish espically shell fish. But this is something different. I had kidney tests done with a dye one time and ended up in serious condition with massive body hives, breathing issues etc. Would this have any link to iodine as know so little about it. They mentioned the dye with sheel fish connections but I don't remember much of the time Jana Church
Guest guest
Source: Optimox website, Research section - Publication #9 - 2005 article authored by Dr. Brownstein: What about iodine allergy? A: My experience has shown true allergy to inorganic, non-radioactive iodine is very rare. Out of over 3,000 patients treated with iodine I have found 3 with a true allergy exhibiting symptoms of a skin rash. These patients were treated with NAET (www.naet.com), an acupressure treatment and two were able to overcome their allergy and take the iodine. One of the three above patients has not been able to take iodine due to an allergy. Does an allergy to shellfish or radioactive iodine imply an allergy to inorganic non-radioactive iodine? A: No. An allergy to organic iodine does not imply an allergy to inorganic non-radioactive iodine. > > > > hi > > I am new but do have a question > > I have severe allergy reactions to many fish espically shell fish. > But this is something different. > > > I had kidney tests done with a dye one time and ended up in serious condition with massive body hives, breathing issues etc. Would this have any link to iodine as know so little about it. Guest guest
There is a lot of crap in the dye besides iodine, & that is what probably made you sick. If you start with a low dose & work your way up, you can reassure yourself.AnneOn Mar 12, 2011, at 12:42 PM, Jana Church wrote: hi I am new but do have a question I have severe allergy reactions to many fish espically shell fish.
