I understand that a dose of Iodoral for a child 2 1/2 yrs old would be 43 mg every 24 hrs till danger is passed. My question is how do I get my grandaughter to take tablets since I don't have lugol's. Does anyone please have creative ways to dose children who won't take pills! Guest guest
Crush them up and put them on top of the peanut butter half of a sandwich and then put the jelly half on top of that. If you only do a half sandwich (cut one slice of bread in half and use that to make the sandwich), a 3 year old should be able to handle it. If you use strawberry jam, the taste is hidden pretty well and any pill chunks could be explained as " strawberry seeds. " My mom was a tricky woman.
