Guest guest
CurEus, I'm very suprised to hear you need a Rx in Canada. I'm in the U.S. (where a prescription is needed for more than 1 oz. of 5% Lugol's) so I buy from Canada where I don't need a Rx and pay very little (each 4 oz bottle of 5% is $20 and the shipping for two bottles is about $8). I don't know where in Canada this place is, but here's how you can reach them. Health In-Sync / Self Health Resource Centre www.healthinsync.com 416-658-6125 Thanks for the info. I am in Canada. I currently take serrapeptase but find no significant discernible effects and am starting nattokinase this week. I am specifically interested in the iodine supplementation as my research indicates thatis the largest determining factor in hypertrophic and keloid scar formation. .. > > > > Hello, > > I have recently met with my doctor and discussed gaining his support for supplementation with iodine to prevent and treat several concerns but primarily to preclude the development of keloid scarring after my recent surgery. Some believe that Keloids (raised scars) are formed due to iodine insufficiency as they do not occur in Japan...He has agreed that it may be of direct benefit. I went to my pharmacy and interestingly was told Logol's is available only by prescription now. I am going back to the doctor on Tuesday to get a prescription but am unclear as to what to ask for. My pharmacy will compound or order in what we request. > > > > What should I ask for? Guest guest
CurEus, I forgot to add the name of the woman who helps me: Kerrie Muschalla --and also, they do sell a 2 oz bottle if you don't want much. I get the 4 oz (which comes with a seperate dropper) and decant it into a smaller bottle for daily use. CurEus, I'm very suprised to hear you need a Rx in Canada. Guest guest
I have been on nattokinase for 4 years as had bloodclots (7 in one year in past). Take the nattokinase every 12 hours. There is no need to worry or test for blood thinning like you would with warfarin(RX version of rat poison) as natto works as enzyme against the fibrin but does not actually thin your blood. Mine is still thick sludge. You can also benefit with improved gut health as it clears biofilm there in a few months. Also if you get K2 in it then can help body add calcium to your bones. I look for FU of 3000 as stronger version. Natto cleared my vericose veins that had for 30 years in several months and also cleared brain fog. My chiropractor was born in Japan and stated that they credit natto with over a million people in Japan being over 100 as reduced both heart attacks and strokes. I use the NSI brand from vitacost though others are also available. NSI costs 25 cents or so a day so cheap insurance against strokes and other bloodclot damage. Also am glad that iodine caused me to use Real Salt as my family has had tons of anuerysms recently some resulting in deaths. I listened to a Nobel Prize winner in 90s who was a vetenarian of cows and other large farm animals who stated trace mineral of tin would prevent anuersyms in cattle industry. This talk linked many common human ailments to these lack of trace minerals and he won a Nobel Prize for that and did talks around the US trying to get the message out. The message still isn't out though. Too long ago to remember his name. He did research on this for 30 years. Prevention costing the farmers 75 cents a week per head could keep farm animals from most the common human illnesses. He was trying to get the word out to humans to use trace minerals for same prevention as farmers use. Apparently vets get much better compliance from the farmers than human doctors get with their patients. Also with 100-1000 doing same thing, trends are much easier to spot. It is not easy to find, but it is not prescription. You can order it off Ebay. I ordered it from Health In-sync (info@...) They have both prepared Lugol's or crystals to make it yourself, which is what I did. I do think that in future I'd order it from ebay or from Xenex (?)Labs (can't remember the name at the moment) in Burnaby BC. Guest guest
I couldn't locate lugols on the site, and a search on the site produces 0 results. How did you locate it there? Thanks Jill On 3/6/2011 2:56 PM, clairewest wrote: > > CurEus, > > I'm very suprised to hear you need a Rx in Canada. Guest guest
Pam I've taken nattokinase for just over 2 years and my blood is still very thick & sticky. but I do notice some symptomatic relief (hands/feet are warmer). I've added serrapeptase in the past & also tried Virastop (but didn't notice any benefit). Now I'm trying bromelain and Rechts-Regulat (from Germany) in conjunction with UVBI (ultra-violet blood irradition -- to kill a broader range of stuff) and the doc pre-treats with heparin (5,000 units) only on treatment days (once or twice a week). I've done about 15 of the UVB treatments so far and I think they are helping. It was trying the first UVBI that showed me visibly how thick & sticky my blood was - and full of clots. After taking the blood out - the nurse couldn't get it back into me because the clots kept blocking the IV tubing. After 2 hours of clearning clot after clot we gave up. I ran out of nattokinase and I need to get some my feet are so cold and I can feel the difference taking it. I pay about $15 for 90 2,000 FU capsules from iherb.com. kendra On Sun, Mar 6, 2011 at 8:26 PM, Pamela Valley <2007pams@...> wrote: I have been on nattokinase for 4 years as had bloodclots (7 in one year in past). Guest guest
That is very interesting. Iodine really is amazing stuff. I had a skin cancer removed from my nose 4 weeks ago and unfortunately they basically had to rearrange my face because it was so big and deep. When I go to the doc's office for them to check on my progress they call me "the healer" because they can't believe how well and how fast it is healing. I take 50 mg. Iodoral and have done so for about 5 years. BarbF In a message dated 3/6/2011 5:44:24 P.M. Guest guest
Me too eh! I know that everyone doesn't respond the same but I just wanted to let you know....my 7 year old had open heart surgery when she was a few months old and the scaring was pretty major compared to most othersthat had a similar operation at a a similar age. We began serrapeptase a few months ago and have seen a remarkable change. So after 7 years of having the scar has really flattened and the colour is even changing to match the skin around it.Remarkable really. So maybe kids skin responses better/quicker than an adults and you just have to stick with it longerand maybe its not for you? Just thought I would share that it really is working and kids sometimes show results quicker andfaster than adults.Hope you find your magicSimoneOn 2011-03-06, at 2:44 PM, CurEus wrote: Thanks for the info.
