I can't find my book but there is info in the book. I know I saw more on an website but don't have time to look into it.

Those thyroid test are useless for determining thyroid function. You want TSH, Free T4 and Free T3. The "frees" are the unbound proteins that are available for the body to use.

name of Dr. K's supplements is . . .?, and his test?

Steph wrote,"Dr. K - the one who wrote that book has some interesting ideas in the TH1 & TH2 immunity but he seems very interested in selling his own proprietary supplements at a VERY high cost."Steph, I just found out that the chiropractor I am seeing is using a test devised by Dr. K and I am wondering if she is selling his supplements as well. What is the name of them? Also, what do you know about the thyroid/wellness panel test Dr. K has created. Chiro says she is part of the group that uses it because it is cost effective. With regard to the thyroid it tests: TSH FTI (free thyroxine index) T3 uptake, T4 (thyroxine)

I should have realized I could just google it . . . Apex is the name.

This chiropractor was recommended by someone on the list, but I was doing better

on the iodine protocol and the recommended supps from the adrenal/thyroid group.

I have spent thousands with this chiro and got sicker than before seeing her

(not a healing crisis). She gave me standard process which is not gluten free

which made me really sick, and now I hear she follows Dr. K's ideas and is

giving Dr. K's supps.

I get the best help on these lists. I am getting my own tests done independently

and having them looked at here in the future.
