Guest guest
Dr. had her call me to insist that I have the FNA. IT COULD BE CANCER! I informed her that I knew that and want to think about it and do what is best for me. Great. Now I am wondering, what if it IS cancer? I wish he hadn't called. I had called his office to find out about my latest bloods. So, my question is - can I get rid of the cancer in there with the breast cancer choices protocol? I understand that there are so many different types of cancer cells and this particular regimen is aimed more at breast cancers. Will it work on me? Even tho there is no conclusive report/biopsy backing it up? Is there other things I should do as well to put my thyroid on a healing path? I am taking two days off from 100 mg of Iodoral. My kidneys hurt. I am doing the salt loading. I was doing 100 mg for a week after doing 50 mg for a while. Did I waste too much time? Nothing like a little more anxiety right now. Ug. I have been organic since 2005 and gluten free since the past summer when we found my daughter is gluten sensitive (along with Hashi/hypo/pcos and now she thinks she is getting arthritis and we have NO one to turn to for good health care! They just up her synthroid/cytomel junk) I am so worried. Oh, and my husband just found he is hypo as well! What to do? Just 100mg? Thank you soooo much. ~~~Barb

Guest guest
Hi Barb I had a thyroid FNA=fine needle aspiration last Dec and the doctor told me that 90% are negative for cancer. I had 2-3 cysts? inside my thryoid (that might not be the right word) that they found doing ultrasound. I also have primary immunodeficieny (hyopgammaglobulinemia - IGG subclass deficencies..) and have several chronical infections, both viral (HHV6a, CMV) and bacterial (Lyme) which have caused osteomyelitis in my jaw - probably the consequence of biofilms I am trying to attack my health problems from 2 angles -- improving my general health with supplements, vitamins, etc and also taking antibiotics and now doing UVBI (ultr-violet blood irradiation - which has nothing to do with radiation - it just means exposing the blood to UV light. I've taken Iodoral off and on for a couple of years with no noticeable changes. Lately, I've also been painting Lugol's on my skin and it disappears in a few hours, even if it starts out bright orange. My latest supplement that I like is Green pastures High Vitamin Butter oil (capsules) as recommended by Weston Price Foundation (aong w/Blue Ice fermented cod liver oil caps. I'm hoping these recent things will help my teeth jaw more.... I also use coconut oil. From what I've read on the list you are pretty safe taking a wait & see approach even if there is a chance the thryoid is cancerous. You can also search the archives for messages about waiting vs the risk of surgery & loss of thyroid.... Good luck... Guest guest
Thank you Kendra,(FNA=Fine Needle Aspiration).Barb; you stick to your guns! I am now e-mailing with a woman who had a total Thyroidectomy 5 mos. ago. After it was out, the lab tests came back inconclusive, meaning they coulodn't say it was cancerous.Only then did she A) break from the Dr.'s, and do research. She found out statistacally, you got a better chance of dieing from having a grand piano accidentally dropped on you from an airplane, while scateboarding in the nude, and smoking a pipe, than you do of dieing of Thyroid cancer. Something like 1600/year, out of 3 hundred million people. She very much regrets the symptoms, that the Dr.'s didn't tell her about, and the needless surgery. If my relative asked my advice, I would say Don'T do it.(The surgery, I mean.)Your in my prayers, Jim > > Dr. had her call me to insist that I have the FNA. Guest guest
Thank you Kendra! Sounds like you have your share too. ((((hugs)))) This is really sucky, isn't it? It's good you have taken your care into your own hands, too, with the supplements. You should see my cabinets!! We are huge fans of coconut oil: cooking, eating, slathering on skin/hair. I may begin oil pulling for toxins, too. Awhile after that doctor called another one about my skin called as well! I have many, many, many pre-cancerous lesions. History of melanoma and many, many basal and squamous cancers. Guess I just freaked. Been doing that ALOT. Now with that radiation on it's way ---more freaking. Because of the melanoma history I have had every part of me CT scanned - as well as the uptake and scan of my baby goiter back in 2005 when it was first found. Since then: heart, chest, spiral CT of lungs, abdomen 3x, head -- found nothing (teehee), bones (dexa) along with the upperGI series for ulcer, gallstones, and the many mammos and dental xrays. I found I have Type A blood and it's just waiting for some type of cancer! I hope THAT little bit of info I found is all wrong for sure! Best of luck to you, too Kendra!! ~~~Barb Cuyler@...> wrote: > > Hi Barb > > I had a thyroid FNA=fine needle aspiration last Dec and the doctor > told me that 90% are negative for cancer. Guest guest
Thanks Jim - sorry about not explaining the FNA! My daughter had three biopsies (FNAs) done -- all inconclusive -- before she had her left lobe removed - NO CANCER. She is on synthroid/cytomel and is living in hell every day. I am trying to help her but got sidelined with my things. That new thyroidectomy victim you email has me rofl!! (But, from what type of plane? j/k) I don't skateboard. Whew. Cleared that one! I am sticking to my guns durnit. I so want this goiter to leave. I am also doing SinusBuster someone told me to for nodules. Eating hot pepper/ginger/garlic sandwiches for my skin cancers, trying to get back up to a high level of Iodoral but my kidneys are killng me and really good healthy foods: mostly veggies/fruits.Am Gluten free. (I canceled a thyroid surgery in September scheduled by an ENT I had seen. After the surgery for the melanoma on my arm, I just don't want any more surgery. Why is it the only method of treatment with docs?) Thanks so much Jim - Barb > > > Dr. had her call me to insist that I have the FNA. IT COULD BE CANCER!
