Salt loading - how long does it take?

My husband is taking 50 mg Iodoral plus ATP cofactors, 200 mg selenium, 400 IU

vitamin E, and 4000 mg vitamin C. He has been very sore all over and very

tired, so he salt loaded today. He took 1/2 t. sea salt in 1/2 c. warm water

followed by 12 oz. filtered water, 5 different times, waiting 45 minutes between

each time. Shouldn't this be enough to make him urinate like crazy? It hasn't.

Now he says his kidney area is hurting. He hasn't been too faithful taking his

daily sea salt. What should he do now? Thanks for any suggestions!

I don't see magnesium on this list?

Can he try a bath of 1 cup epsom salts and 1 cup hydrogen peroxide? That may help too.
