Guest guest
With the salt system we have, there is no shocking of the pool required. I think the generator only ran for two to three hours a day. Our well water was salty enough and we didn't even have to add the salt to the pool. We tested the water for chlorine and it was negative, none detected. Even though there is chlorine generated by this machine, it dissipates and is not a problem. Our unit cost around 200 dollars, this is for a 48 inch Quick Set pool. Guest guest
You might try a silver copper generator to keep the pool in good shape. I think though you still have to shock the pool but one can use the hydrogen peroxide to start it off and then maintain it with the generator. I bought my son one for gift for his new pool a few years back (I cannot even sit beside a chlorinated pool) http://www.mineralpure.com/questions.html this is a similar type that my son had. Not sure you would need the ozonator and ionazer with this system. Louise Pool desinfection Can anyone direct me to where can I get iodine to add to my pool water for desinfection + health benefits? Do they sell this things? I just got a new house with pool and planning to install ozonator + ionazer, but they said I still need to shock the water with chlorine from time to time. I would love to use iodine instead. Thank you!
