Guest guest
Another product to have on store in large quantities is sodium bicarbonate ~ aka baking soda ~ besides the multitude of household uses it has health benefits as well. One use of interest today is the protection it offers from radiation. I am not finding the article by Dr. Mark Sircus that speaks to ingesting baking soda prior to getting a CT scan but it's around here somewhere ... But here is a link to one of his baking soda & cancer articles that probably gives the same info: http://blog.imva.info/medicine/baking-soda. Here is another article of his that speaks to baking soda, radiation and other contaminants: http://sodiumbicarbonate.imva.info/index.php/administration-methods/mighty-malle\ t-of-baking-soda/. Interesting that is is used to clean soil contaminated with uranium. Adding baking soda to the laundry detergent may help dispense airborne particles that will settle on clothes. Guest guest
Hi " baxrox " - I went to the site - interesting, and thanks. I found a link to Iodine and found this: " Preliminary research indicates that if a person is iodine insufficient, it takes about 3 months to become iodine sufficient while ingesting a dosage of 50 mg of iodine and a year to become iodine sufficient while ingesting a dosage of 12.5 mg of iodine daily. " So, do you think it is safe to say that at 100 mg of Iodine a person will be sufficient in one and a half months, I wonder? Oh, and I found this about the bicarbonate: Special Note: In Sodium Bicarbonate – Rich Man's Poor Man's Cancer Treatment it is stressed that sodium bicarbonate is not a standalone single shot cancer treatment. It should always be used in conjunction with a full protocol that includes most importantly magnesium chloride, iodine and selenium plus a naturopathic approach to diet, intestinal cleaning, sun exposure and many other helpful things. I would love to find the protocol or some info on how much to take? ~~~Barb > > Another product to have on store in large quantities is sodium bicarbonate ~ aka baking soda ~ besides the multitude of household uses it has health benefits as well. > > One use of interest today is the protection it offers from radiation. There are too many variables to make any assumptions when it comes to individual iodine supplementation! (but my humble and unprofessional thought is - No way!) is more qualified to address a question like this as she is in contact with the people who have been doing the urine testing all these years. There are some other folks on this list who have been taking iodine & supporting nutrients for several years and do the urine testing for their own journey ... perhaps they will share their thoughts or experiences. Re: sodium bicarbonate - Mark Sircus MD has more info peppered in some of his blog posts or newsletters that he sends out. I'm no expert here for sure but because sodium bicarbonate has a significant impact on pH I would think that monitoring pH would provide a pretty good guideline. I don't think it should be used as the only way to keep pH levels up, but as an adjunct to other important minerals. Higher dosing in the case of cancer is a unique situation and there is more information about that approach on the internet. I don't have any of the Sircus books so cannot quote anything from there. > > > > Another product to have on store in large quantities is sodium bicarbonate ~ aka baking soda ~ besides the multitude of household uses it has health benefits as well. > > > > One use of interest today is the protection it offers from radiation. Guest guest
Thanks - sorry about that club membership I found that many add the baking soda along with other ingreds (sea salt, epsom salt, clay) to bathe in, too. I'll try anything that is within reason. As for pH, it gets a little complicated for me. But I do try to eat as many healthy greens as possible and lots of deep breaths. (Going to test now ;-) Barb > > > > Hi " baxrox " - > > I went to the site - interesting, and thanks.
