Guest guest
Join NAA at the Autism One Conference this May! RECOVERY RISINGAutism Onewww.autismone.org Chicago, May 21-25, 2008Autism One 2008 is pleased to present Dr. Amy Yasko in a much awaited engagement at an international autism conferenceSYMPOSIUM WITH DR. AMY YASKOSATURDAY, MAY 24, 1:30 – 6:00 PM Nine years ago, Dr. Amy Yasko established an alternative healthcare practice specializing in immunological and neurological disorders. The concept was to apply her knowledge of molecular biology with the hope of offering relief to those suffering from chronic neurological inflammation. Her unique approach helped many who sought to address the root cause of their health issues and to take charge of their own health. Word spread and her work and passion soon led to the development of a protocol to help parents in recovering their autistic children. Dr. Yasko has found that many aspects of the protocol that she has developed for autism also play an important role in addressing most health conditions in society today. Underlying genetic susceptibilities combined with infectious diseases and environmental toxins can create a situation that predisposes us to a range of health issues affecting a critical nutritional pathway in the body - the methylation pathway. Methylation acts as an on/off switch that allows the body to learn how to respond to environmental change. It represents the only cellular pathway that affects both adaptability and structural integrity of the body. Understanding the importance of the methylation pathway and the key role it plays, Dr. Yasko continues her work in autism and looks to share this knowledge with any who wish to benefit from her protocol. Presentation abstract:Autism is a multi-factorial condition that includes a genetic, environmental and infectious disease component. Dr. Yasko will begin by outlining the specific pieces of the puzzle of autism as she perceives it. She will then look at the genetic component in greater detail and will give an update on new biochemical aspects that have been observed since her last appearance. There will be a question and answer session at the end of the presentation. To see a list of Autism One 2008 presenters, please visit the Speakers page at:www.autismone.org Hope is always real.
