Guest guest
Does anyone know how to convert mcg to mg regards Potassium Iodide liquid? My 2 fluid oz. bottle says that 2 drops equals 150 mcg potassium iodide. I'm wondering how many drop would be necessary to get up to the 173 mg needed? Also, if I am already taking 25 mg of Iodoral per day, would I deduct that from the amount of liquid potassium iodide drops. Another question is, if I only have one thyroid lobe, do I still take the full recommended 173 mg potassium iodide?
Guest guest
there are 1000 mcg in a mg. The recommended dosage of KI for an adult is 130 mg not 173 mg.(at least that is the dosage recommended by the CDC). Yes you could deduct the KI that is in Iodoral. I don't have a thyroid but I am still going to take the KI. Katheen Conversion from mcg to mg on Potassium Iodide??
