Guest guest
HI Lori, have you tried Trader Joe's? www.traderjoes.com We go to the one in Westlake for the most part. We have loved all of the GF and DF products that we have bought there so far. Good prices too. Good luck. In a message dated 1/11/2008 9:35:23 P.M. All the ones we've tried so far are SO dry that my son won't eat them (I wouldn't either!)Thanks,Laurie Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape in the new year. Guest guest
Laurie, go to the ANDI website, they have copies of Special Diets for Special Kids both 1 and 2 available(you wont find new copies anywhere else). The website was created and is run by and Serousi. Also Bette Hagman(?spelling) writes the Gluten Free for Dummies books and she has great recipes in her books as well as flour mixes that are supposed to be really good. I am pretty new to the baking side of the diet. We jsut did without baked goods except the nasty tasting ones we could buy at the stores. Also check out GFCF diets at cafe mom. Good luck, let me know if you find a good one. I am looking for the recipe for Noahs bread right now. I will post to let others know how it turns out. > > Does anyone have any recipes for GF bread or suggestions for store- > bought GF bread that tastes half-way decent? Guest guest
There is only one bread mix that I can eat that is actually very delicious, I used to buy it at Wild Oats (I hope Whole Foods will continue to carry it). It is a small green package by Chebe and it is for breadsticks. It's about $4 I think and only yealds about 4-5 breadsticks but it would be enough perhaps for 2-3 servings. It is absolutely delicious! Hth. jarkat2002@... wrote: HI Lori, have you tried Trader Joe's? www.traderjoes.com We go to the one in Westlake for the most part.
