Guest guest
Go to www.breastcancerchoices.org and read their materials. Iodine prevents and cures breast cancer, period. It does not harm or create cancer in any way shape or form. If you're taking iodine, you're protecting yourself against breast cancer. I personally don't see the point in taking that test since the results aren't very useful according to the information I've read about it. I feel confident because I am protecting myself with iodine. -- At 08:49 AM 3/14/2011, you wrote: >hi, > >I just read DR.Brownstein book and at page 71 he says that " researchers >reported taht the combination of iodine/iodide has been shwon to alter >gene expression in estrogene-responsive breast cancer cells. Guest guest
Hi , I want to protect myself from BC too. I dodn't quite understand exactly what Dr. Brownstein is saying when iodine is increasing BCRA 1 activity... I take only 6,25 mg and I feel very good but I have an itchy throat since taking iodine and I wonder if it is normal. I take 400mg of magnesium, 200 of selenium, 1400 of vit C,, iron, B6 and I ordered B2.I can't take B3 because I have problems with my liver: I have a non-alchoolic steatosis. How much of iodine do you take? > >hi, > > > >I just read DR.Brownstein book and at page 71 he says that " researchers > >reported taht the combination of iodine/iodide has been shwon to alter > >gene expression in estrogene-responsive breast cancer cells. Guest guest
Recommended Vit C amounts are 3,000 - 5,000 mgs. You may need more. It sounds like you may have a detoxing reaction going on. There are many pathways that we detox from. Everyone is different. Try reading this for info on the BCRA1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BRCA1 Buist, ND Owner / Iodine Group Re: iodine increasing BRCA1 activity Hi ,I want to protect myself from BC too.
